Every woman can appreciate a man who cooks. According to an article titled, “Top 6 Reasons Why Women Desire a Man Who Can Cook,” women find that men with the skills to whip up something tasty are considered more interesting and sexier. So long are the days when a woman had to be stuck solo in the kitchen, cooking up dinner every night. In our modern world, watching a man cook is very pleasing to women. I mean, there is definitely something attractive in a male who uses his hands to create a delicious entrée. And according to the article, women find there is something “sensual” about a man taking over in the kitchen.
Besides finding a man who can cook ultra-sexy, women also find that such skill a great conversation starter. When both people in a relationship enjoy cooking, they are able to share their good and bad experiences about creating certain dishes. To keep a relationship going strong, there must always be communication. Also, showing a woman you can cook tells her that a future with you will not be stereotypical—she won’t be cooped up all day in the kitchen creating something for you while you chill in the living room, watching television or gaming.
Chase Stout has become the ultimate “boyfriend goals” when it comes to cooking and creating something unique. Stout and his girlfriend, Kenzie Jones, adopted a small and cuddly grey kitten named Mr. Wilson earlier this fall. When Stout’s girlfriend left town for a couple of days, she left him with the kitten. Jones had no idea what to expect when Stout decided to cook up some breakfast for his little kitten and himself. Stout’s story and image have now gone viral after he made their cat tiny, kitty-friendly pancakes. It is cuteness overload and people on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media sites can’t get over Stout’s tiny pancakes for his adorable kitten. Stout also joked about putting chocolate chips in the pancakes—but assured everyone on social media that he didn’t actually give the cat chocolate, as it can be harmful for our feline friends. However, he had to tell BuzzFeed, “I wanted to send the question about chocolate chips just so she would get it and be like, ‘Wait, what?! He’s making pancakes?’” Since posting the images, he’s received thousands of tweets from veterinarians and the like, urging him not to give the kitten chocolate. No worries—Stout was simply joking.
Stout had first posted the image of his pancakes and Mr. Wilson’s pancakes side by side on his Twitter. He captioned his photos, “When your girlfriend goes out of town and tells you ‘don’t forget to feed our cat.’” His tweet was liked by over 80,000 people on Twitter and retweeted over 45,000 times. We’re not surprised by how popular his photos have become. A tiny, cute little kitten named Mr. Wilson and Stout’s creative cooking are definitely good reasons why people are making these images go viral. Everyone loves stories about animals and add in a guy who can cook? That’s a plus in our books. This kitten is extremely adorable, and to make things even sweeter, Mr. Wilson also has a friend, the couple’s German Shepherd puppy, who is also getting a lot of attention for his cuteness.
Stout is also gaining a lot of social media attention by other women who think he is the ultimate boyfriend. Twitter users have hashtagged Stout “#relationship goals” and “#boyfriend goals.” One person even went so far as saying, “I’d marry whoever did this for my cat.” Stout explained that his girlfriend is pretty overwhelmed by all the attention their little kitten is getting. He stated, “She thinks it’s crazy how much attention it has gotten,” Stout said, adding, “We just always tell Wilson ‘he’s famous now.’”
